Medically Necessary Equipment

Customers who experience medical emergencies or conditions where medical equipment is required to sustain life or to avoid serious medical conditions should obtain a medical certification from their medical professional.

A medical certification allows a customer to avoid disconnections for the duration of the medical certification. Medical certifications must be signed by a medical professional and renewed every six months.

It鈥檚 important to understand the following about a medical certification:

• It does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• It does not exempt customers from making payments.
• Customers are responsible for backup equipment.
• Customers are responsible for their course of action when outages occur.
