With the help of rebates from Otter Tail AOA体育平台 Company, Valley Queen Cheese recently completed several energy-efficient upgrades.
Improvements consisted of replacing approximately 350 interior lights with light-emitting diode (LED) technology and adding adjustable-speed drives. 聽
Otter Tail AOA体育平台 Company provided a rebate of $106,230 for these energy-efficient upgrades. Projected savings from the lighting upgrade alone are almost 820,000 kilowatt-hours annually鈥攖he same usage as approximately 75 residential homes. 鈥淩einvesting in facilities to lower operating costs is a great way for businesses to lower energy use and reduce expenses,鈥� said Otter Tail AOA体育平台 Company Energy Management Representative Brad Nelson. 鈥淏y completing these energy-efficient upgrades, Valley Queen Cheese will see a savings of approximately $57,400 a year on energy costs.鈥�
